Summary:

Provides student personnel services to Learning Center students to facilitate successful program completion.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provides academic advisement and counseling services.  Schedules and conducts Initial and Exit Reviews while students are completing their training. Documents results in student’s administrative file. 
 
Provides counseling services to students having problems and/or wishing to withdraw and to assist student with program completion.
 
Ensures students maintain satisfactory attendance while attending training program.  Contacts students who are absent and documents results in student administrative files.  Does follow-up correspondence and counseling to students as necessary. 
 
Facilitates the return of students previously withdrawn from school. 
 
Monitors and counsels students currently on probation.
 
Assists as needed in conducting community outreach activities to promote community awareness of new students.
 
Performs other duties as assigned.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, this educational requirement may be met through prior experience and/or industry experience.

None are required for this job.
