Summary:Acts as a liaison between the community and the institution. Joins and participates in Chamber events, High School career fairs, employment career fairs, develops partnerships with agencies, creates and cultivates relationships with potential employers for training opportunities, generates new inquiries for the admissions team. Exclusively responsible for enrolling into Career Quest’s short term programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Knowledgeable of the objectives, requirements and content of all programs of study offered by the Learning Center in order to present complete and factual information to prospective students and the public. Accurately applies all recruitment and enrollment policies and procedures.
Enroll qualified applicants and conduct follow-up contacts for Career Quest’s short term starts.
Acts as liaison between various agencies and Career Quest Learning Center. Routinely visits surrounding agency offices to provide feedback and reports to sponsoring counselors. Participates in various agency sponsored activities.
Helps facilitate successful completion of agency sponsored students by developing corrective action plans as needed with all applicable parties involved.
Maintains accurate admission’s records for all students.
Assists with New Student Orientation as needed.
Conducts open houses for employers, potential employers, externship sites, etc.
Manages PT survival job process with Career Services for students in need of PT jobs while in school.
Submits all reports in a complete, accurate and timely basis as directed.
Ensures that 1) all materials used for recruitment and admissions accurately describe the Institution’s mission, programs offered, instructional outcomes, student performance requirements and graduation requirements, 2) applicants know that job placement assistance is available to them following training and that no applicant is promised, or is under the misconception, that employment is guaranteed following training, and 3) all employment outcome and wage information provided to applicants is based on specific, measurable data.
Develops and coordinates various marketing campaigns to effectively recruit prospective students for admission.
Appropriately implements the Institution’s Public Information and Recruitment Plans.
Participates in community outreach activities to assist in recruiting prospective students.
Performs other duties as assigned (such as but not limited to: job placement, externship placement and job development).
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, this educational requirement may be met through prior work experience in business, and/or sales or marketing; proficiency in computer business applications and keyboarding required.
